About the competition: Beadwork is pleased to invite you to enter our seventh juried exhibition, Beadwork VII: The Beaded Earth. Whether you find inspiration in your favorite flora or fauna, a cherished vacation spot, or a map of your travels, let the natural wonders of our world guide your next beaded creation. Deadline for entries is February 25, 2011. Select entries will be published in the August/September of Beadwork magazine and displayed at Bead Fest Philadelphia in 2011. |
| Preliminary Guidelines: |
- The object must be no larger than 12" x 12" x 12" (12" cube).
|
- The object can be created with any bead technique.
|
- The object should be comprised of at least 50% beads.
|
- Your work should have been created within the past two years.
|
- Preliminary entries (entry form and image only) are due February 25, 2011.
|
You may enter as many beaded earth-related objects as you like, but please submit one entry form per work. We encourage you to enter online. Online entrants should receive an automatic confirmation e-mail stating that your entry has been received. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact us via e-mail at

Finalists will be notified by March 11, 2011 and asked to send their object for judging to Beadwork by March 25, 2011. Winners will be notified by April 6, 2011. Some of the winning entries will be displayed in the Interweave booth at Bead Fest Philadelphia in August 2011. |
Finalist Guidelines: If selected as a finalist, you will be required to provide the following: |
- Entry fee of $25 for US residents and $50 (USD) for international entries.
(Note: Each entry requires a fee.)

- Selected finalist's actual piece(s) (not slides) must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2011.

- Please remember that finalists will be chosen based on your uploaded images photographs. Submit the best possible images of your submission(s). Make sure your entire project is clearly visible in your images. For best results, use a plain, untextured white or light background.
