Blessing has worked as an editorial director in western book publishing for
two decades, was a contributing editor to SPA magazine, and was a senior features
editor for The Seattle Weekly. Sewing, embroidery, quilting, clay sculpting,
and calligraphy are a few of her favorite crafts—until, of course, she began
beading.
Jamie
Hogsett is the former editor of Stringing
magazine and special projects editor of Beadwork
magazine, and the author of Stringing Style.
Jamie has taught beading classes in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and California.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in English Literature and Art History
from Colorado State University. She lives in Kansas City, Kansas.
