Description
Trick the eye with the Escher Poncho. This pattern is made from three separate stripes and biased strips. These strips are seamed together to create a dimensional fabric. Colorful edging in garter-stitch adds a pop of color.
Finished Size: 19¾” wide and 26¾” tall.
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Boliviana (100% merino wool; 191 yd [175 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #6 white (A), 3 skeins; #9 black (B), 3 skeins; #21 green apple (C), 1 skein.
Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16″ and 32″ circular (cir). Size 8 (5 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); removable m; tapestry needle.
Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4″ in rev St st on larger needles.
