About Interweave

Interweave is one of the nation’s foremost art and craft media companies with businesses in magazine and book publishing, interactive and social media, television and video programming, online education, live events, and online shopping. Interweave delivers best-in-market content to enthusiasts when, where, and how they want. Interweave was founded in 1975 by Linda Ligon.

Interweave was acquired in June 2019 by Peak Media Properties, Inc. Peak Media Properties’s mission is to help fine artists and crafting artisans, from serious hobbyists to professionals, by inspiring and informing them throughout their journey. Peak helps millions of people explore their passions, connecting these enthusiasts and helping them to build communities to share and develop their work and ideas while providing a path that equips them with the latest and greatest material to better enjoy their art or craft. More information is available at GoldenPeakMedia.com.

At Interweave, our goal is to celebrate diversity and create equal opportunities for all crafters. We are committed to creating content that represents a variety of backgrounds, inclusive yarn pattern sizes, diverse range of experiences, and skill levels. We encourage all crafters, including BIPOC, LGBTQ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, and other underrepresented individuals to submit their project and article ideas.

MAGAZINE PUBLISHING

Interweave publishes high-quality subscription magazines in knitting, and digital patterns and articles in crochet, mixed media, beading, and jewelry-making. Additionally, Interweave publishes many more special-interest publications that are published as newsstands-only publications sold in retail stores throughout North America.

VIDEO & ONLINE EDUCATION

Interweave is committed to creating video and online education courses of the highest quality across the spectrum of subject areas in which we publish. Interweave also develops, shoots, edits, and distributes original video content for Interweave’s multi-platform products and websites. Videos are shot on location or in Interweave’s studio and editing suite, based out of its Golden, Colorado, headquarters.
